Built on top of the internationally recognised Data Stewardship Wizard (DSW), FAIR Wizard expands its strong foundation with powerful automation, enterprise integrations, and reporting features that improve research data governance across the entire institution.
Drawing on DSW’s clear and structured workflow, FAIR Wizard ensures that every important aspect of data management is addressed, from data collection and documentation to storage, access, preservation, and reuse. It provides enhanced guidance and EU-compliant templates that make it easy for researchers to produce consistent DMPs.
FAIR Wizard offers a scalable solution that strengthens data management practices at both the project and institutional level.

Mission

Our mission is to help organisations strengthen their entire research process through better, machine-actionable research data governance. We provide the first step toward FAIR data by embedding FAIR-aligned Data Management Plans directly into institutional research workflows. This gives organisations a solid platform, practical support, and the ability to improve research quality, compliance, and efficiency across the whole institution.

Organizational History

Founded in 2019 in Prague, Codevence began by developing tools and platforms that support FAIR data practices and Open Science. It soon expanded into research data stewardship, contributing to open-source solutions and helping institutions strengthen their data workflows.
Building on this expertise, Codevence created FAIR Wizard, an enterprise extension of the Data Stewardship Wizard that introduces automation, integrations, and analytical insight. The company also contributes to international initiatives, including the OSTrails project, which supports cross-infrastructure collaboration and FAIR-by-design research ecosystems.
Today, Codevence works with organisations across Europe, Africa, the United States, and Australia, including national bodies developing coordinated DMP solutions. It continues to advance responsible research data management through adaptable, governance-ready tools that improve the quality and long-term value of research outputs.
